IMAP at NC State

PLEASE NOTE:

  • POP email service is no longer available at NC State. During the week of November 21, 2005, an email was sent to all POP users notifying them that POP mail services on campus were being terminated and allowing several weeks for them to make a smooth transition from their POP accounts to IMAP ones.
  • A reminder email was sent on December 21, 2005, to all remaining POP users.
  • POP services on the current IMAP services were turned off on December 31, 2005.
  • A final reminder was sent to remaining POP users on January 21, 2006 notifying them that their POP accounts would be moved to IMAP on February 1, 2006.

For more information about IMAP and Webmail, see the IMAP Overview. If you would like to have an email program in addition to Webmail, be sure to choose one that will work with IMAP.
