Using the Network X Print Manager
NXpr, written by Lance Lovette, is a Motif interface for the lpr
command. It was created to help conserve print quota by allowing
a user to print a file with different fonts, smaller font sizes
and multiple page formats with various attributes, such as page
numbers.
To use this print manager:
- Type nxpr & at the system prompt.
- Select a file to print from the dialog box that appears.
- Choose the desired options (e.g., font, layout).
Extensive online help is provided for this program. Select Help
at the top right of the NXpr window. Then select Index
to bring up a scrollable dialog box that provides help on the functions
and options in NXpr.
Go to the Print tutor main
page.
