Computer User Groups
User groups on campus and in the surrounding area are a good source of
computing-related information. In most cases, the group members range
from new to highly experienced users who:
- Get together at meetings, network and socialize.
- Share ideas by email, mail lists and online chats.
- Help with installations and modifications.
- Assist with troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Learn, train and educate.
Here is a partial listing of user groups available to the NC State community:
If it's not on this list, try looking here:
Research Triangle Park Area Technical User and Special Interest Groups
Another good ways to find useful information about computer related problems
is to use an Internet search engine or subscribe to newsgroups. If you
use the Google search engine, select the "Groups" tab then enter your search
parameter before you submit the "Google Search".
