To watch the MEGA Webcast, you will need to ensure that

• You have Quicktime version 6.0 or better.
• You are connected to a high speed network connection. A broadband cable connection should suffice, but ISDN may not be fast enough. Ask if you are not sure.
• If you are behind a firewall, that at least port 80 is open. We cannot guarantee that it will work for all instances where a firewall is deployed due to variances of implementation.

In a few instances, there is a possibility that manually configuring the player may help. Again, this step may not be necessary, and in fact may reduce the quality of the playback experience. Only do this if the webcast does not automatically start.

Open Quicktime, and select Quicktime Preferences. Make sure the Connection Speed is set to DSL/Cable or higher.

Next, Click on Transport Setup. Change the default for Transport Protocol to HTTP. After selecting that, the default port ID should be set to 80, unless the default port for web traffic has been changed to another port (very unlikely).

You will need to relaunch the webcast for your new changes to be utilized.
