The role of ITD's Computer Operations unit has changed over the years. We monitor the servers to ensure that they are up and accessible. We also provide assistance to ComTech-Networking, Computing Services & Help Desk, and RMIS on a broad range of Mainframe, Unix Windows workstations/servers and a vast array of networking periphials & storage. Operations is also responsible for maintaining the Unity computer labs thoughout the campus. Our Optical Mark Reading(OMR) staff does almost all of the scanned (bubble sheets) testing and exams for the university. Operations is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days a year.
