Service Type:
Education

Service Name:
ITD training facilities available to on-campus units

Brief description of service:

On-campus groups can contact ITD to reserve these facilities to provide training for their groups. Groups can request our instructors for training or use their own instructors.

Clients Eligible for service:
All. Some campus units serve outside clients (e.g., high school students) and these groups may also use our facilities.

Type of use:
University business only

Duration of service:
Ongoing

Cost:
No additional cost for most uses at the present time; a charge for using the facilities may be necessary, depending on group and use.

To obtain service:
Contact Sarah Noell (sarah@ncsu.edu)

Rules of use:
All NC State computer and network resources are governed by Administrative Regulations - Computer Use

Additional service procedures/restrictions:
Scheduling of labs by non-ITD groups is done if the labs are available. Typically ITD use would have priority over a non-ITD group. Groups interested in scheduling one of our labs should reserve as far ahead as possible to avoid conflicts with ITD training.
