Brief description of service:
What to do in case of fire in Hillsborough Building.

Fire Emergency

In case of fire, the person discovering the fire will immediately

1. Alert personnel who may be endangered and evacuate building. If needed, pull fire alarm switches (at exits on each floor).
   
   
2. If applicable, utilize the Halon System (main computer room only).
   
   
3. If situation dictates, cut electrical power to source of fire system.
   
   
4. If feasible, fight fire with means at hand.
   
   
5. Position someone outside to direct the Fire Department to the scene of the fire.
   
   
6. As soon as time permits, have someone notify senior management:
   

   Vice Provost, ITD (Sam Averitt, 5-5493)

   Director, Operations (Dennis Norris, 5-5421)

   Director, ACS (Mardecia Bell 3-1194)
