Optical Mark Reading (OMR) services

Brief description of service:
ITD provides Optical Mark Reading (OMR or bubble sheet scanning) services for NC State faculty, staff, and graduate students, and North Carolina state agencies or other educational institutions.

Clients Eligible for service:
NC State faculty, staff, and graduate students, and North Carolina state agencies or other educational institutions.

Type of use:
University- or agency-related activities

Cost:
Costs are based on machine time used for job.

Exam/quiz scoring: Paid for by Office of Provost for NC State clients.
Faculty/course evaluations: Paid for by Office of Provost for NC State clients
Surveys: Paid for by department, agency or individual client.

Procedures for OMR scanning service

Test results and statistical reports can be picked up from the OMR office in printed format or on disk. Raw data can be sent by e-mail if requested.
