Electronic mail, directory services, calendaring and firewalls report
Alan Galloway, ITD and Greg Sparks, NCS
- LDAP / Directory Services - The
technical committee met on Jan. 14 to discuss what resources
would be needed such as hardware, databases, and data feeds. Information will
come from
ACS, ITD, Registration & Records, and Communication Technologies. ACS
is looking into
housing the database.
- Email Issues - The Email subcommittee
will be meeting in the near future to discuss issues
concerning spam/mass emails within NCSU
University
