Instructions for renewing faculty home copies of Mathematica

To renew your home edition license:

Visit http://register.wolfram.com and enter the license number you were originally provided. The license number begins with the letter L. It can also be found under Help/About Mathematica within the application.

Indicate on the website that you want to register the product and generate a password.

At this point, you will be required to enter your MathID and Machine Name. The MathID is a series of numbers (XXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX) that you entered when you first registered your product. The Machine name is the hostname of your computer.

Note: If you still have the registration email from Wolfram Research when you originally registered Mathematica, the Machine Name, MathID and License Number are all listed.

Once this information is submitted, Wolfram Research will email you a new password. The password is similar to the following (XXXX-XXX-XXX:X:X:20070801). Once the new password is entered, you will be able to renew your license.
