    Global Nuclear Energy Partnership

The Department of Energy under the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership (GNEP) Readiness competition made available to NC State funds to purchase 25 IBM blade servers and supporting storage. This equipment has been purchased and added to the university Linux Cluster. By the terms of the DOE RFP and resulting proposal, this equipment is available on a priority basis for NC State University faculty, staff, and students who are working on tasks that are supportive of GNEP objectives. More can be learned about GNEP by going to the following web site: http://www.gnep.energy.gov.

To request access to the GNEP compute and storage resources on a priority basis please send email to Dr. Eric Sills (eric_sills@ncsu.edu) including a explaination of how the proposed work supports the GNEP objectives. Requests will be reviewed for GNEP relevance. If there are any questions, contact Professor Paul Turinsky (turinsky@ncsu.edu).
