We love talking to our fellow plant nerds! Wayne Miles is the Stormwater Program Manager for the city of Raleigh while Ariel Bushel is their Communications Analyst. Raleigh Stormwater is responsible for implementing programs, projects, and services to maintain the stormwater infrastructure for the city. They have numerous programs and services geared toward empowering the citizens of Raleigh to protect our waterways and become better environmental stewards; including financial assistance for people looking to build a rain garden, a green roof, or a man-made wetland on their property, and even a program that provides free plants to people looking to improve their streamside buffer. Join our Director of Horticulture, Greg Paige, as he sits down with Wayne & Ariel to talk about the importance of stormwater management and all the wonderful ways we can protect our waters while we garden!
