July 19, 2001 (Thursday)
1:00 PM-2:30 PM
During the doldrums of summer, what else delights the senses than a refreshing breeze and cool spot found underneath a grand, old shade tree. The JCRA houses a wonderfully diverse assemblage of shade trees, both large and small, and this tour will focus on the diversity of this wonderful group of plants. Join JCRA Assistant Director Todd Lasseigne for a fun time in the sun on this tour.
This tours begins at the brick building at the JC Raulston Arboretum and is free and is open to the public. Please call (919) 515-3132 if you need directions or information about these tours.
