October 31, 2003 (Friday)
In celebration of Halloween, come out to the Arboretum and join Todd on a tour of plants that should be considered "armed and dangerous." Focusing on an eclectic assortment of plants, you'll leave the day knowing the difference between thorns, spines, and prickles, and you'll know that roses really don't have thorns.
This tour is scheduled to begin near the entrance to the Ruby C. McSwain Education Center at the JC Raulston Arboretum and is free and open to the public. Plantsmen's Tours last from one and half to two hours. Please visit the Arboretum's Web site or call (919) 515-3132 if you need additional information about this tour.
