Klein-Pringle White Garden
Inspired
by the White Garden at Sissinghurst Gardens in Kent, England, the Klein-Pringle
White Garden showcases white-flowered plants and plants with gray, white, or
silver foliage set against a dark background of hollies and conifers. A charming
white Victorian gazebo stands across a stretch of lawn, forming the focal point
of this lovely garden. Low stone walls frame this formal outdoor garden room.
A plaza with a small garden pool makes this a perfect location for weddings,
meetings, and receptions. The Pringle family of Kinston, North Carolina, generously supports
this garden.
A few of the fine plant specimens located in this garden include:
- upright Japanese snowbell - Styrax japonicus 'Emerald Pagoda'
- red lace-leaf Japanese maple - Acer palmatum Dissectum Atropurpureum Group
- Loebner magnolia - Magnolia ×loebneri 'Merrill'
- garden viburnum - Viburnum 'Mohawk'
- hybrid crepe myrtle - Lagestroemia 'Natchez'
