Model Gardens

The Model Garden area of the Arboretum has countless ideas suitable for today's small scale home landscapes, including water gardens, raised beds, garden seating, and plants that are small or easily contained.
These gardens were designed and constructed by students in landscape design classes at NC State and include a Townhouse Garden, Stepping-stone Water Garden, Reading Garden, and the Butterfly Garden.
