The JC Raulston Arboretum has a variety of upcoming programs in August and September. Complete details for these and all of our programs are available on the JCRA's Web site, however, some of these programs have special details that you may wish to note.

Superhero Plants: Protectors of Clean Water
August 5, 2012

This program has been postponed. We'll announce the new date in the future.

Juried Print Competition
August 23 through October 5, 2012

Registration is still open. Entries will be accepted on August 23 from 11:00 AM through 8:00 PM. The opening reception is on August 25 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The exhibit will be on display Monday through Friday, August 27 through October 5.

Western North Carolina Trip
September 7, 8, and 9, 2012

We're heading out to western North Carolina on a plant shopping trip. If you want to join us, please send in your registration on or before August 7.

Plantsmen's Tour

August's Plantsmen's Tour is our last tour of the year at 9:00 AM. We return to our regular time (1:00 PM) in September.

Friends of the Arboretum Lectures

The Piedmont Chapter of the North American Rock Garden Society has once again invited Friends of the Arboretum members to attend their fall lecture series. This fall's cosponsored lectures are on September 15, October 20, and November 17.
