Private support of the JC Raulston Arboretum is vital to the success and longevity of this outstanding public garden and research facility, and there are many opportunities for giving and showing your support. The following are just a few areas, so please call or e-mail Anne Porter, director of development at (919) 513-3826 or email@example.com to discuss other opportunities for giving.
Memberships gifts are the primary support for the JCRA's daily operations and vital for its success. Memberships keep the gates open and the gardens in top shape.
Endowment gifts provide a long-term investment that will weather the financial storms of our precarious economy and provide essential support into perpetuity. A gift to the Endowment for Excellence is way of insuring that future generations will have a green space to visit and to learn about plants from around the world. Your gift to the Endowment for Excellence is wise investment for the future—helping to provide a beautiful tranquil setting where families can enjoy and appreciate nature.
The Student Internship Program has proven to be a real win-win opportunity for both the worthy young people chosen to serve as JCRA interns and for the Arboretum. Through this program, you can truly make an impact on a young person's life. There are also two named JCRA internship endowments—Dr. Robert E. Lyons JCRA Internship Endowment and the Isabella Cannon Endowed Arboretum Internship.
If you are interested in naming an endowed internship in honor or memory of a loved one, or leaving a personal legacy gift, please contact Anne Porter, director of development at (919) 513-3826 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The JCRA Children's Program will connect young people to the field of horticulture and give them a better appreciation of the green world around them. This program is teaching and cultivating the next generation of friends of the Arboretum—another great investment in the future of our young people.
