Ms. Ruby
If you know NC State's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the JC Raulston Arboretum, then you don't even need a last name - she is just Ms. Ruby! She is not only an outstanding philanthropist, but a charming southern lady, and I am lucky that she calls me her friend.
So, what do you give someone who has given so much? It's a simple as a brick - a personalized brick! That's what I did last Christmas when I wanted to demonstrate to Ms. Ruby just how much she means to me - I gave her a brick! Now everyone who walks through the new McSwain Educational Center will know that Ms. Ruby is my special friend.
