The two ways of seeing degree information can be helpful to you in choosing your career path. Using the Automated Degree Audit helps you see what a major entails, what you would study and learn. By looking at it you can see if this is something you would like to pursue. The Semester-by-Semester display is helpful once you have narrowed down your choice of major. It shows you a suggested path for fulfilling the degree requirements.
Automated Degree Audit (ADA) Course RequirementsRegistration and Records hosts the degree requirements (ADA) for each major where you can search for the major of your interest by college or alphabetical order and can be sorted by degree key. Please note: First Year College and all curricula noted as undesignated or undeclared are not full degrees. Instead, these curricula show a sample sequence of classes students might take their first year in a given program or college before entering a degree granting major. Planning your academic program by using the four-year display can help in a variety of ways such as:
The display is a good piece of information to take to the meeting that you have with your adviser each semester during the registration advising period. *A plan of study is your own personal semester-by-semester plan that you create and adjust over time in consultation with an adviser in your major. |
