Who will be attending the Minority Career Fair?
The Minority Career Fair is open to ALL NC State students. It is the
only non-college specific career fair on campus and one of the largest
career fairs on campus.
So then why is it called the Minority Career Fair?
The Minority Career Fair was started in 1982 to offer minority students
an equal opportunity for job placement. However the Minority Career Fair
has always been open to the entire campus community. In an effort to
present role models for our students, we encourage companies to send
minority recruiters and graduates of NC State University.
MCF Mission
The Minority Career Fair provides ALL students with equal opportunities to
discuss the availability of internships, co-ops, as well as career opportunities
with various companies in attendance. Emphasis is placed on companies sending
minority recruiters as well as NC State University alumni in the hopes of
increasing the attendance of students from underrepresented populations.
