MCF 2009 Update

Thank you for your interest in the Minority Career Fair. Unfortunately, we will not be hosting the Minority Career Fair this year.  After almost 30 years, it is sad to suspend such an honored tradition, but with the economy in its current state, we have had too few companies register to make it feasible to conduct the fair.

To find out about other career recruitment opportunities at NC State University, we encourage you to contact the University Career Center at career_center@ncsu.edu or 919-515-2396 or on the web at http://www.ncsu.edu/career.  We also recommend the career fairs hosted by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (contact Marcy Bullock: marcy_bullock@ncsu.edu. 919-515-3249), the College of Management (contact Brendalee McCarthy: brendalee_mccarthy@ncsu.edu, 919-513-1523), and the College of Engineering (contact Brian Koehler: brian_koehler@ncsu.edu, 919-515-3263).

If you have any questions about this decision or the arrangements outlined here, please don’t hesitate to call me or TJ Willis, Assistant Director of Campus Activities, at 919-515-5918.

Sincerely,
Kimberly Zugay
