Majed Al-Ghandour has taught for TTS for over 18 years. He has a PhD in Engineering from NC State University. His teaches Microsoft .NET and open source technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, XML Web Services, Java, C++, PHP, MySQL, jQuery, Ajax, SharePoint, WordPress, SAS programming and Mobile App Development. Majed is a Professional Engineer and has earned his Microsoft MCP, MCSD and MCT, Novell CCNA, and the Certification of Accomplishment in Teaching from NC State University.
Paul Apollonia is an eBay Education Specialist (trained by eBay) and has been teaching eBay for over 8 years. He is a Top Rated Power Seller and has been selling on eBay since 2001. Paul can teach the new seller or the experienced seller how to succeed on eBay. He also specializes in working with businesses to show them how to turn their excess inventory into cash using eBay. Paul has a true passion for eBay and teaching eBay to others.
Holly A. Basso has been performing technical and professional training for over 25 years. During that time, she has also managed five different training centers, run her own consulting business, and provided business software solutions to corporations across the country. Holly specializes in the Microsoft products when facilitating classes and seminars for Technology Training Solutions. Additionally, Holly is a PhD student in Adult Education at NC State University.
William (Bill) Blackmon has taught AutoCAD courses for Technology Training Solutions for over 10 years. As a licensed architect in the state of North Carolina, he has been using Autodesk products in his field for more than 20 years. He has served as technical editor on multiple AutoCAD books, and has written dozens of custom AutoCAD applications. Bill patiently approaches teaching from the standpoint of an end-user with a strong emphasis on efficiency and real world application.
Martin Brossman is a leading authority on social media and online marketing. He is a business coach, author, consultant, and trainer known for his insight and grass roots marketing expertise. A member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD), Martin is a popular speaker on social media topics. He also teaches at North Carolina community college Small Business Centers and Chambers of Commerce venues throughout the state.
Leslie Byrd has been in the advertising and communications industry for 25 years and continues to serve a broad range of clients from health care and high-tech industries to manufacturing. Leslie is particularly passionate about meeting the needs of non-profit organizations and educational institutions, offering services for both print and web media.
Brian M. Collins is a 30 year IT industry veteran, spending the latter half of that tenure in the role of technical education course developer and trainer. He has taught infrastructure, operating systems, networking, and software development since 1995. A self-diagnosed IT Geek, Brian has held positions for companies such as HP, Red Hat, EMC, and NetApp. As well as a BS in Information Systems, MBA, and M.S. Ed., he holds numerous industry certifications from Microsoft, CompTia, VMware, Red Hat, EMC, and NetApp.
Laura Cone has taught for Technology Training Solutions for over 13 years, and has been a trainer and consultant to private and public sector clients for 17 years. She teaches all Microsoft Office products, as well as Microsoft Project and "a few others." Laura is a Microsoft Certified Application Specialist Instructor and a beta tester for MOS exams.
Randy Earl learned his teaching skills as an instructor at the Naval Nuclear Power School. Randy has worked in IT since 1997, as a corporate IT Manager leading application development and ERP implementation projects, and as a free-lance web developer building solutions for small businesses and nonprofits. He is currently providing solutions for medium and large clients as a Business Analyst with AtlanticBT, a Raleigh-based web software development agency.
Heather Cutchin Evans has been the social media manager for a large veterinary hospital in Raleigh for five years and has made social media a pivotal part of the group's marketing plan. Her experience as a teaching assistant with the Social Media Management Certificate Program has provided her with real-world experience training others to effectively use social media for business branding, marketing and advertising.
Phil Faucette has been teaching application software part-time for over 20 years for Technology Training Solutions, Wake Technical Community College, and with the consulting firm he established specializing in web site development and computer training. Currently he is Digital Communications Manager at Wake Tech, but still enjoys teaching whenever he gets the opportunity.
Leslie Hamm is the President of Alpha Accounting, a local QuickBooks-centric consulting firm since 1996. She was named as QuickBooks Pro Advisor Top 100 in 2014 and she has been a QuickBooks Advanced Certified Pro Advisor since 2009 at the inception of that designation. She is a professional instructor and a member of the Intuit Trainer/Writer network, is the only local Intuit Premier Reseller and is a member of the select Accountant and Advisor Customer Council of Intuit, Inc. 2007-2009.
Rick Kissiah has 20+ years of information technology experience, and currently works for Lenovo as an Advisory Engineer in their Enterprise Business Group. He holds an MS in Technical Communication from NC State University and is completing his MS in Network Technology/Information Security from ECU. Rick has earned several industry certifications including A+, Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
Greg Kraus is the University IT Accessibility Coordinator at NC State University where he works with Web developers to ensure Web pages and applications are accessible to people with disabilities. He is a national leader in implementing accessibility in higher education, leading accessibility efforts in international organizations such as EDUCAUSE and ATHEN. He also develops software tools which are widely used to help Web developers evaluate their Web sites for accessibility.
Dana Mathew has taught at Technology Training Solutions for over 5 years. She is an expert facilitator of the Microsoft products, the Adobe products, and many of the Webmaster Certificate courses. With 11 years of experience in the software training industry, as well as many years of specialized consulting for corporate clients, she is a seasoned IT professional.
Jeanne Munoz is a technology consultant and social media manager for small business and education. A technology trainer for more than 15 years, Jeanne is currently employed as the technology director at a charter school where she offers professional development opportunities for educators. As a proficient user of Google applications, Jeanne enjoys encouraging others to take full advantage of the Google products to enhance their business operations.

Erick Polsky has been working as a trainer and consultant for 24 years. Erick provides highly customized software solutions, education, training, and mentoring for various companies and universities. He has earned the Microsoft MCT, MCITP, MCTS, and MCDBA professional certifications. Erick also owns a training and software consulting company in Cary, NC, managing a team of developers who provide custom business application development.
Gregory Scarola has been an instructor for NC State since 2008, empowering students with the knowledge they need to succeed in web design and development. Greg has his B.S. in Computer Science and Interactive Digital Design. Aside from an extensive training background and teaching evening courses for Technology Training Solutions, Greg works as an HTML/CSS developer for a software company, where he enjoys expanding his vast knowledge of the web industry by keeping up-to-date on cutting-edge technologies.
Eric Schmieder is a full-time Computer Technology faculty member at Johnston Community College, and is an adjunct instructor for several other colleges in North Carolina. In addition to his teaching expertise, Eric has over a decade of experience as a small business owner and entrepreneur, and still works closely with Small Business Centers throughout North Carolina. Eric is a current PhD candidate, and is a published author of software titles with Pearson Education.
Deanna Springall has worked "hands-on" for over 20 years in the fields of technical communications and web content development and design, translating geek to end-user - and vice versa! For the past 6 years, she has worked with SharePoint 2007, 2010 and 2013 implementations in both full-time and consulting roles for a wide variety of industries. Deanna was part of an award-winning team that developed an innovative SharePoint application for medical education at a local university.
Lorraine Stephens, President of L. Stephens & Associates, Inc, has worked as a consultant for over 20 years, seminar presenter, and trainer of Microsoft Office products. As a seasoned speaker, Lorraine is a member of the National Speakers Association and Toastmasters International. Having authored several books on both technology and speaking, she has a passion and a gift for delivering information in a simplified and relevant manner.
Karen Tiede is a social media marketing consultant/trainer and textile artist who has successfully applied social media to market her work, now teaching Marketing with Pinterest around the state. Karen brings over 15 years of corporate process design and improvement experience to her work with professional, academic, and small business organizing.
James Tock has been a network and software engineer, consultant, and trainer in the IT industry for over 25 years. James has expertise with diverse technologies such as Novell NetWare, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, VMware, NetApp storage, SAN and Cisco networking. James currently is certified as a NetApp Certified SAN Implementation Expert, NetApp Certified Data Management Administrator, VMWare Certified Professional, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
