See our Monu-MENTAL Projects HERE!
from Durant Road Middle School, Raleigh, NC
This project was produced by Sharon Freenor's seventh grade students as part of their language arts and social studies curriculum. The lead teacher was not a technology instructor. Both teacher and students learned the technology and used it to support student learning in the content areas.
Students were divided into research and design teams. Each team was responsible for a topic and they presented the information to the class. To learn about the governors mansion, the class took a field trip to the mansion and interviewed employees and staff. Technology was used as a culminating activity to reinforce material learned during the project.
