A year back, the city of Raleigh
implemented new building codes. The sign at this Krispy Kreme
store was too large and some called it gaudy. Many area residents
petitioned to have it made smaller and more modest. Krispy Kreme
won the court battle and now the sign has LANDMARK STATUS!
