Dreams From the Yugoslavia

I Have A Dream, Too

Ivana Margetich is my cousin. She is tall, thin with blue eyes and brown hair. She is very beautiful. She lives in Jugoslavia, in Beograd, the capital of the country. She is fourteen years old and her home is on the sixth floor of a very impressively tall block of flats which has eighteen floors.
I am sure that you don't really care about the floors in the block of flats but for me and Ivana it was very important. Because we could tell which one was taller than the other if the one could reach the button of the eighteenth floor in the elevator and the other couldn't. These were good years. I remember how sweet we were. Then we used to wear the same clothes. We were just like twins. But not only in our appearance but also in our souls. We were, we are, and we will always be one.
My cousin is a very friendly and attentive person. She is also a good listener because she can help you speak about your problems without making you feel embarased. She only listens and in the end she gives you good advice.Ivana is very clever and kind. Because she is a good student she helps her friends with their lessons. She never wants much and she prefers to give rather than take. I admire her because although she is silent and never against someone, all her efforts are fruitfull.
Ivana is a very good student. In Jugoslavia if you want to go to college you must pass exams in Maths and Language. According to the grades you obtain in these exams you can chose the college where you want to became a student. In these exams my cousin has got the best grade in all Beograd. In her free time she practices in rythmic gymnastics. Ivana is in the team who represent her club.
Despite the lact that 800km are between us, our love are alive. I cannot see her face but I can carry her soul in my heart every day. But soon our dreams are going to become true. Because we are determined to become roomates and to go to the same college. Later, we will see what we are going to do but we are sure that our routes will be common.
