It was the week before Halloween, and Max and his sister Sarah were discussing costumes over lunch. Max wanted to be Superman- flying through the air with his red cape. But Mom was making them go as a team.
“I don’t see why I have to go trick-or-treating with my gross little sister!” Max said.
“ C’mon Max , it’ll be a blast! I’ll be the beautiful Tinkerbell and you can be Peter Pan. Or better yet, Captain Hook!” Sarah laughed. She was driving Max crazy.
“What was that?” Sarah whispered.
