I think that the world should be a lot different by the year 2000 than it actually is at the moment. I hope that technology will be a major factor in everything. The year 200 is a major step for the whole world.
 
First I wish that technology would take over and run a lot of things. It would be nice for everyone to be connected by email. Then you getting homework off the Internet and other things. Already you can buy stocks off the Internet. It would also be helpful if they thought about the future so there would not be another bug like the Y2K bug. I think that the world is working it's way up there towards all the technology.

Also I wish that there would not be so much poverty and crime in many countries. Many third world countries seem to have a lot of poverty and so it would be nice if there was not much poverty or crime anywhere. Many people don't have homes or food and just die at an early age. By the year 2000, if we could reduce this then the world would become a great place. It would also be nice to modernize all the third world countries so there aren't that many third world countries by the year 2000.

I think that world would be nice if there was not so much pollution. So many large cities such as New York City, Chicago, and London, England, suffer from so much pollution because of people. To help this by the year 2000, we could use natural gas instead of the gasoline we use now in cars. We could also stop using so much diesel in trucks. And it would be really helpful if people threw trash in a trash can.

This is how I wish the world to be by the year 2000.
