1. A cash award will be provided to help support a trip to National Educational Computing Conference to be held in Philadelphia, June 27th-30th, 2005.Two individuals from each team of 1st Place Winners-the Teacher sponsor and one student team representative-will be supported to travel from the city in which their school is located to the National Educational Computing Conference to present their projects at a special session and to accept their award.
2. Professional Recognition
Names and schools of winning teams will be announced at NECC, included in ISTE's Update, and numerous other technology periodicals. Winning Teams are frequently called upon to present at local, state, and national technology conferences, in addition to being featured in numerous educational articles and journals for their exemplary use of technology. Several winning teachers have written articles for technology journals to spread the word about their exemplary use of technology.
NOTE: A FREE CD-ROM of the winning projects and runners-up from Multimedia Mania will be provided by our sponsors in support of teachers who use multimedia to teach their standard curriculum. The 2003 CD is being mailed out to the Hypersig members(july 2004). The 2004 CD is being produced. You will find information about our past winners in our Gallery of Winners.
