FullerDr. John A. Fuller is in his fifteenth year on the Music Faculty at North Carolina State University. As the Assistant Director of the Music Department he oversees all organizational and administrative aspects of the Music Minor and is in charge of departmental Outreach and Assessment. In addition to being the Assistant Director, he teaches Rudiments of Music and Aural Training during the school year and in the summer session.  He is also the conductor of the Village Band of Chapel Hill/Carrboro.

 

Dr. Fuller received his Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University in 1987, his Master’s degree from Cleveland State University in 1992 and his PhD in Music Education from The Ohio State University in 1995. He currently holds an honorary membership in NC State’s Music Fraternity, Mu Beta Psi. He is a life member in the National Honorary Band Fraternity Kappa Kappa Psi and holds professional memberships in Phi Kappa Phi, Pi Kappa Lambda and The North American Brass Band Association.
