Dr. John A. Fuller is in his eleventh year on the Music Faculty at North Carolina State University. As the Assistant Director of Music Department he oversees all organizational and administrative aspects of the Music Minor and is in charge of departmental Outreach and Assessment. He assists with the basketball pep bands and conducts the British Brass Band in the spring semester.
Dr. Fuller received his Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University in 1987, his Master’s degree from Cleveland State University in 1992 and his PhD in Music Education from The Ohio State University in 1995. He currently holds an honorary membership in NC State’s Music Fraternity, Mu Beta Psi. He is a life member in the National Honorary Band Fraternity Kappa Kappa Psi and holds professional memberships in Phi Kappa Phi, Pi Kappa Lambda and The North American Brass Band Association.
