Welcome to WRRI

WRRI identifies and supports research needed to help solve water quality and water resources problems in North Carolina and the region. This research is conducted by faculty and graduate students of senior colleges and universities in NC. We arrange research partnerships and competes for federal, state and foundation grants and contracts.

We also provide information transfer on water-related issues through our research reports, publications, conferences, workshops, seminars and the WRRI-News electronic list. WRRI also partners with the NC Urban Water Consortium and Stormwater Group as well as the North Carolina Water Resources Association.
