Sound Pure is seeking a technically experienced videographer, filmmaker and editor for one or more unpaid internship opportunities at Sound Pure Studios. Familiarity with shooting camera and video and Final Cut Pro are absolute prerequisites. Intern will be working on real projects for commercial purposes, generally in the music industry, and
these will typically be for release on youtube (see www.youtube.com/soundpurestudios/ for examples). It is our expectation that by the end of the internship the intern will have participated in dozens of small video projects, and ultimately, if the intern is working at a high level by the end of their internship, will be able to lead certain projects and take some of their own creative liberties. At the very least, the intern will build their personal portfolio, and will have a number of projects with which they will have participated in, that will be released online. Sound Pure is looking for minimum of 4 month commitments at 20 hours per week. More time-length commitment or hourly availability will be highly considered. Because of the training, trust, and time involved in maintaining a functional internship program that is beneficial and educational to the intern, and mutually beneficial for Sound Pure Studios, the internship requires this longer term commitment. While not a part of the internship program, a small percentage of interns that go through the program and who are particularly well suited for the work,
may be asked to stay on at Sound Pure as paid employment, or to train the next class of interns. Contact: Michael Stipe (seriously) - mstipe@soundpure.com
