Registration is free. Food and beverages will be provided. Pre-registration will help ensure we have enough food and beverage for all and give an accurate count of posters to arrange for sufficient poster boards.

Presentation of the Marcus Hobbs and NC-ACS Distinguished Speaker Awards

2011 Marcus Hobbs Service Award: The 2011 Marcus Hobbs Award will be announced for his/her outstanding long-term service to the North Carolina Section of the ACS and its members.

2011 NC ACS Distinguished Speaker Award: The 2011 NC ACS Distinguished Speaker Award will be announced for his/her research.

Presentations (Posters only; submit titles by September 23, 2011; space may be limited)

Posters are solicited from ACS and non-ACS chemists covering any aspects of chemistry and related science. Student Posters will be judged and prizes awarded for 1st - 3rd places in each of three categories: high school students, undergraduates, and graduate students.

Please enter all titles and names as they should appear in the program. Indicate subscripts and superscripts using the html tags. For example sulfate ion would be: SO<sub>4</sub><sup>2-</sup>. We will work with you if you are unable to comply.
