The primary responsibility for obtaining and maintaining MSDS's (Material Safety Data Sheets) rests with the department ordering the chemical. Departments are encouraged to keep hard copies, however, if MSDS's are immediately available electronically, copies are not required.

• National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health - A good MSDS site.
• University of Kentucky - This site offers a lot of options for in depth searching. We suggest using this when previous sites have failed.
