Top Ways to Get Involved
-
Update your contact information regularly.
One of the greatest challenges for The Caldwell Fellows program is maintaining accurate contact information for alumni.
By keeping your contact information up to date, you will receive mailings from The Caldwell Fellows office,
such as the alumni newsletter and event announcements. Both email and print mail traffic is low.
To update your contact information, click here.
-
Join the NC State Alumni Association.
The Caldwell Fellows, both students and the program, receive their chief financial support from the NC State Alumni Association,
which holds all the fellowship endowments. Membership dues go to support The Caldwell Fellows as well as the University and alumni programs.
It also provides, among many other perks and services, discounts on all Alumni Association events.
-
Join us for program events, such as a monthly dinner seminar on campus.
Having alumni regularly at program events enriches the experience for current students and fosters student-alumni relationships.
We will send invitations out periodically via email.
However, if you see an event on The Caldwell Fellows Web site you would like to attend,
please let us know.
-
Attend Caldwell Fellows alumni events
, such as the Homecoming Tailgate in the fall or the Reunion gala in the spring.
These events are a great opportunity to reconnect with The Caldwell Fellows community.
If you would like to take extra initiative, plan an event in your area.
You can find out more about alumni events on our Events page.
-
Offer an internship.
By offering a professional internship,
alumni help create opportunities for current students to investigate career options
and gain invaluable professional experience in a pertinent field.
To learn more about offering an internship, please visit our internships page.
-
Speak or present a workshop at a dinner seminar or retreat.
By sharing your experiences and wisdom with the program,
you will be enhancing program events while engaging in life-long learning.
To find out more about this opportunity, email Liz Holt.
-
Stay informed by reading The Caldwell Fellows newsletter.
This triannual publication will keep you up-to-date about current Caldwell Fellows as well as program alumni.
You will receive this newsletter typically via email or occasionally in print.
-
Serve as a class or regional liason in the Caldwell Fellows alumni network.
Class liasons are the contact between the Caldwell Fellows alumni classes and office staff
by disseminating information to their class members and encouraging alumni involvement.
Regional liaisons serve as a resource for other Caldwell Fellows alumni in specific geographic locations.
If you are interested in serving in one of these positions,
please contact Liz Holt for more information.
-
Contribute financially to the program.
Please visit our Giving page
or contact Janice Odom to discuss potential gifts.
