The primary mission of the Bike Patrol is to support the uniform patrol officers and university community by addressing crime prevention through public education.  

The Bike patrol acts as a visual reminder of police presence on campus and a good will ambassador to the students, faculty, staff, alumnus and visitors to North Carolina State University.
