University Student Legal Services (USLS) is a nonprofit corporation sponsored by the Student Government Association at NC State which is funded by student fees.

The purpose of the Service is to provide education, advice and limited representation within the scope of the prepaid.

The Service's plan is registered with the North Carolina State Bar, the parameters of which are set by the students at NC State.

The Service is aimed at helping students resolve their legal problems with as little disruption as possible to their primary educational endeavors.

The office focuses on preventative law, enabling the student to make educated choices.
