CATALOGS

NCSU publishes two catalogs, one for undergraduate studies and one for graduate studies. Both catalogs are revised every two years, although addenda to each catalog are published as needed between publication of full revisions. Each catalog contains a copy of NCSU's Mission Statement, as well as a statement of the purpose of all specific educational activities, rules and regulations for conduct, degree-program descriptions and requirements for completion, course and curricula descriptions, degree-completion requirements, lists of full-time faculty, accounts of costs, and descriptions of rules and processes for admission and withdrawal (see self-study library for copies of the catalogs).

Both catalogs are widely distributed [4.0.8]. Plans are now being implemented to have both catalogs available on-line by the end of 1994 through the campuswide Happenings! system. Such distribution will make the catalogs available to everyone on campus through dedicated terminals in every major campus building and to anyone in the world with a modem.
