High School Students
As a service to the community, NC State University provides academic opportunities to high school students through the Academic Enrichment Opportunities program and a variety of summer enrichment opportunities.
Otherwise, students must have graduated from high school at least a year prior to taking classes as a regular NDS student.
Academic Enrichment Opportunities (AEO)
Students with exceptional high school records who have exhausted all course options available at their high school may take NC State courses for credit while still in high school. The AEO Program is offered to qualified high school students on a year-round basis, including summer sessions.
Summer Youth Opportunities
Each summer, several of NC State University's colleges and departments offer academically enriching experiences for young people. Check out the listing on the university's Pre-College Program website.
