graduate from South Brunswick High School where
he is president of the Student Government Association,
secretary of Anchor Club and Teens Against Tobacco
Use, and a student representative for the Brunswick
County Board of Education. He is also a teen tutor
at his local church, a member of Teen Court, and
involved in his church choir and youth group. He

Week’s recipient of the SCANA Corporation
Ron McNair Award from among 200 of South Carolina’s
top ranking junior and senior participants. Tenise
plans to major in textile and apparel management/apparel.

Cheryl Cambre, Columbia, South Carolina. Colleen
will graduate from Spring Valley High School where
she is Co Editor-in-Chief of The Viking Shield,
the high school newspaper, President of the National
Art Honor Society, and Public Relations Officer
of the National Honor Society. She also participates
in school-wide recycling with the National French
Honor Society and is the founder of Art BLITZ, an
art outreach program. She plans to major in graphic
design and minor in journalism. |

Quick, Pamplico,SC. Will will graduate from the
SC Governor's School for Science and Mathematics
where he is president of Junior Civitans, president
of the Explorer's Club, and a member of the National
Honor Society. He also is a member of the track,
cross country, and tennis teams at school and
a Eagle Scout in Boy Scout Troop 477. He plans
to major in biomedical engineering.

Casper, Kingsport, Tennessee. Katya will graduate
from Dobyns-Bennett High School where she is
vice-president of Mu Alpha Theta, a Math Honor
Society, a member of the tennis team, and has
been voted "Most Likely to Succeed."
She has played the piano in the Kingsport Youth
Orchestra and is a veteran member of the Mock
Trial Team at Dbyns-Bennett. She plans to major
in computer engineering. |

and Karen Hamilton, Mohawk, TN. Chasta will graduate
from Greeneville High School where she is Co-Officer
of Service Projects for the National Honor Society,
a member of the Scholars' Bowl team, and a member
of the Latin Club. She also is a Senior Company
Dancer and assistant instructor at The Dance Company
in Johnson City, TN and has received scholarships
to attend the National Youth Leaders' Conference
and Presidential Classroom in Washington, DC.
She plans to major in political science/ pre-law.

Oak Ridge, Tennessee. John will graduate from
Oak Ridge High School where he is Student Council
President, cross country co-captain, and is on
the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council.
He also runs track, is in National Honor Society,
and is a volunteer leader for Wyldlife, a Christian
outreach program for middle schoolers. John plans
to major in computer engineering.

from Webb School where she is: President of the
Community Service Club, Co-Chair of the Student
Government Community Service Committee and

Club. She also recently helped organize the can
drive at Webb School which raised 17,000 lbs of
food for the Second Harvest Food Bank, as well
as received the Optimist Club Service to Humanity
Award. She plans to major in Animal Science.

from Brazoswood High School where he was tuba
section leader in the band, member of the debate
team, and member of Winter Guard floor crew.
He has been a Peer Leader and a member of the
Youth Music Ministry at his church and completed
the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 325. Michael
is a National Merit Semi-Finalist and plans
to major in biomedical engineering. |
