United Methodist Church. Elisabeth was
co-captain of the 2003-04 Jordan High School
winter guard, and a squad leader in the
2004 fall marching band. She also has adopted
the road she lives on and cleans it regularly

S.C. Shawna will graduate from the South
Carolina Governor’s School for Science
and Mathematics where she is co-captain
of the varsity volleyball team, treasurer
of the Spanish Honors Society, and has
been voted “Most Likely to Make Insane
Amounts of Money.” She is a volunteer
at Sandy Memorial Animal Hospital and participated
in a summer research internship with the
Department of Natural Resources Marine
Infectious Disease Laboratory Division
at Hollings Marine Laboratory on James
Island. She plans to major in biology.

Elizabeth McCloskey, daughter of Joe and
Melissa McCloskey, Columbia, S.C. Molly
will graduate from Spring Valley High School
where she is president of National Honor
Society and a member of the Beta Club.
She also helped plan an American Red Cross
Blood Drive at her school. She plans to
major in industrial engineering.

David Neave, son of Joe and Lisa
Neave of Spartanburg, S.C. Malcolm will graduate
from Dorman High School where he is the returning
captain of the varsity academic team, which
won a national championship in Chicago in
2004, and a perennial delegate to the South
Carolina Beta Club Convention, where recently
he placed second in the oratory competition.
He also traveled to Costa Rica this summer
as part of the Duke TiP Tropical Ecology
program. He plans to major in materials science
and engineering. |

Harrison Sellers, daughter of Benton
and Sheilah Sellers of Cleveland, Tenn. Meredith
will graduate from Girls Preparatory School
where she is president of the honor council,
production editor of the school newspaper
and a member of the National Honor Society.
She has also been a volunteer at Bradley
Memorial Hospital for the past three summers
and is involved with GPS’ career mentors
program. She plans to major in biology with
an emphasis on pre-medical studies. |

Tyler Bassett, son of Jeb and Diane
Bassett of Martinsville, Va. Tyler will graduate
from Martinsville High School where he is
captain of the football team, a saxophonist
in the jazz band and homecoming king. He
has also earned the rank of Eagle Scout in
the Boy Scouts. He plans to major in business
