ROTC Cadets, Cadre Honor Veterans with Run, Ceremony

ROTC cadets and cadre at North Carolina State University will commemorate Veterans Day with an early-morning run and a ceremony at the Belltower on Monday, Nov. 11. The run will begin at 6 a.m. in front of Carmichael Gym and finish at the Belltower at about 6:30 a.m.

About 350 cadets, cadre and university officials are expected to participate. The post-run ceremony at the Belltower will recognize North Carolina prisoners of war, soldiers missing in action, and other veterans, followed by the playing of "Taps." The event is open to the public, and the media are invited to attend.
