Former Ambassador to Address Terrorism, Iraq at Lecture

Dr. Immo Stabreit, former German ambassador to the United States, France and South Africa, will speak on “Iraq and All That: The European View on the Terrorist Threat and the Iraq Imbroglio” in a public lecture at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, in the Caldwell Hall Lounge on the North Carolina State University campus.

Media coverage is invited. Caldwell Hall is connected to Winston and Tompkins Halls and faces Hillsborough Street.

Stabreit’s lecture will focus on the threat posed by international terrorism and the situation in Iraq as seen from a European perspective. He is a visiting lecturer at Duke University this semester as a Karl von der Heyden Visiting International Fellow.

The lecture is sponsored by NC State’s Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures and the International Studies Program.
