State to Host 17th Annual N.C. Quality Conference
What:
North Carolina State University will host
the 17th annual N.C. Quality Conference. The conference
is designed to provide professionals, managers and
executives in manufacturing, government, service and
technology sectors with knowledge and tools to promote
best practices in the area of quality assurance. The
theme of this year’s conference is “Best
Practices in Process and Performance Excellence” and
focuses on the importance of process improvement in
the workplace. The conference features speakers from
nationally known organizations, and attendees can also
participate in 12 targeted breakout sessions and two
post-conference workshops.
Who:
The conference is a joint partnership by three NC State
units – the Industrial Extension Service,
the College of Textiles and the Office of Professional
Development. The conference is co-sponsored by
chapter 1113 of the American Society for Quality
in Raleigh.
When:
Wednesday, Oct. 6 and Thursday, Oct.
7
Where:
Jane S. McKimmon Center, located at the intersection
of Western Boulevard and Gorman Street.
Cost:
$295 per person; $275 for ASQ members
and groups of three or more from the same organization.
