NC State Presents Third Annual Gen. Hugh Shelton Leadership Forum

What: North Carolina State University hosts the third annual General Henry Hugh Shelton Leadership Forum, titled “Practical Applications for Exemplary Leadership.” Headline speakers will include retired Army Gen. Hugh Shelton, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Congressional Gold Medal Recipient; Jim Kouzes, co-author of “The Leadership Challenge” and “Academic Administrator’s Guide to Exemplary Leadership”; August Busch IV, president of Anheuser-Busch Inc.; and actress and entrepreneur Connie Stevens. The forum is one of several programs offered by the General Henry Hugh Shelton Leadership Initiative and is designed to promote leadership skills in the public and private sectors.

Who: Presented by the NC State Office of Extension and Engagement and the Office of Professional Development

When: 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19

Where: NC State’s Jane S. McKimmon Center at the intersection of Gorman Street and Western Boulevard in Raleigh

Cost: Attendance fee is $159 (includes lunch); preregistration is preferred, although there will be an opportunity to register on-site the day of the event
