NC State University to Hold Campus Master Plan Workshops

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Master plan workshops will be held throughout the fall semester to assess development in the five North Carolina State University campus precincts. The workshops are open to university faculty, staff, students and the community.

Each campus precinct workshop will be an open forum for discussion about development and growth at NC State and will led by the Office of the University Architect. Information gathered in the precinct workshops will be used to make revisions and updates to the university’s Physical Master Plan. Following the workshops, task force teams will incorporate this information into planning for future projects.

The Physical Environment Committee and the Campus Design Review Panel will review proposed changes and additions and make presentations, based on the review, to campus groups.

More information on the NC State Physical Master Plan, A Campus of Neighborhoods and Paths, and the workshops can be found online. The workshop schedule follows:

  • Centennial Precinct Workshop, Engineering Building I Room 1010, Sept. 9, 2005, 1:30 p.m.
