Hunt
Named Vice Provost of Enrollment Management Services

IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Dr. Louis Hunt has been named vice provost for enrollment
management services at North Carolina State University.
The appointment is effective immediately.
As vice provost, Hunt will lead the Division of Enrollment
Management and Services, which includes the offices
of Undergraduate Admissions, Scholarships and Financial
Aid, and Registration and Records. The position also
reviews and develops policy regarding enrollment
and enrollment targets.
Hunt came to NC State as a research technician in 1983,
and joined the Department of Registration and Records
in 1995 as an assistant registrar. In 2002, Hunt became
university
registrar. He has served as the interim provost for
enrollment management services since 2005.
Hunt holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural
economics, a master’s degree in management and
a doctorate in educational research and policy analysis,
all from NC State.
