The focus of his project will be to develop and evaluate numerical models of the internal bioreactor environment to better understand how that environment influences the dynamic behavior of microorganisms and their metabolic pathways.
Pramaggiore received a Fulbright Lecturing and Research Fellowship and will spend the spring semester of 2007 in Ireland teaching at University College, Cork, and conducting research at the Irish Film Centre and Ardmore Studios.
