Welcome Reception, Pep Rally Set for New NC State Hoops Coach

What: A welcome reception and pep rally for new North Carolina State University basketball coach Sidney Lowe and his coaching staff will give Wolfpack fans an opportunity to meet the coach and show their support for the basketball program. Light refreshments will be available and door prizes will be awarded. Lowe will be joined at the reception by campus officials, the NC State cheerleading squad and the mascot, Mr. Wuf.

Who: The event is sponsored by the NC State Office of Diversity and African-American Affairs, the NC State Black Alumni Society and the Wolfpack Club.

When: Tuesday, Aug. 22, 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Where: Room 2 of the Jane S. McKimmon Center on the NC State campus. The McKimmon Center is located at the intersection of Western Boulevard and Gorman Street.

Cost: The event is free and open to the public.
