2005 NIA/NASA/NCSGC Educator Workshop

The NC Space Grant Consortium is now accepting
applications for the 2005 NIA/NASA/NCSGC Educational Workshop. All 6-12th grade educators and/or academic administrators (including private schools, charter schools, YMCA, 4-H, YWCA, etc.) are invited to apply. Applications may be filled out and sumbitted online. Application deadline is April 15, 2004.

NASA Langley Competency Directors Visit NC State

Call for Papers for the 2004 ASME IMECE
15 July 2003
The ASME Fluids Measurement and Instrumentation Technical Committee in conjunction with the K-8 Fundamentals of Heat Transfer Committee is organizing a Forum on the topic of chemosensors and chemosensing with focus on information transfer and processing at the interfaces between flow, heat and mass transfer, and controls phenomena for the 2004 ASME IMECE.

NIA Seeking Candidates for Six Langley Professorships
17 March 2003
The Langley Professors are envisioned as working closely as an integrated team with the NIA President and Vice Presidents, the NASA NIA Management Office, the six Competency Area Chiefs at NASA Langley, and the NIA Liaison Professors at the six NIA founding universities to create a unique research and education institute. Langley Professor candidates should have a dossier that is commensurate with a tenured, full professorship at one of the six NIA founding universities: Georgia Tech, North Carolina A&T University, North Carolina State University, the University of Maryland, the University of Virginia, and Virginia Tech.
